Houston Holds Annointing Mass for Veterans

The Houston Region holds its monthly Mass in conjunction with its First Saturday Ministry at the local VA Hospital where we take Holy Communion to approximately 80 Catholic vets. On June 21, region members participated in an Anointing of the Sick Mass, with Cardinal Daniel DiNardo, Archbishop of Galveston-Houston, presiding.
Kevin Gardner, KM, who leads the Houston Region VA Ministry, hand-delivered invitations to each Catholic veteran inviting them to attend the Anointing of the Sick Mass with their families.
The Knights and Dames of the Houston Region provided food and drinks at a reception for the veterans and their families afterward.
