Northern Virginia Region Celebrates Anointing Mass

The annual Northern Virginia region anointing Mass was held on March 18 at Saint Ambrose Church in Annandale, VA. This year more than 30 knights, dames and candidates, assisted by spouses and volunteers served more than 400 malades and companions. Bishop Michael F. Burbidge of Arlington was principal celebrant and homilist. Bishop Emeritus Paul S. Loverde, conventual chaplain ad honorem was principal concelebrant.
At the luncheon following Mass, each malade was offered a miraculous medal and a bottle of Lourdes water as gifts from the Order.
