Memorial Prayer Service for the Unborn

On January 24, the New Orleans Region participated in the Archdiocese of New Orleans annual Memorial Prayer Service for the Unborn held the week of the anniversary of Roe v. Wade in Holy Innocents Prayer Garden.
This service, held annually for over 30 years, is organized by the Respect Life Office of Catholic Charities - New Orleans. For years it was held in different cemeteries. In 2018, the Archdiocese dedicated the Holy Innocents Prayer Garden to be an area reserved for burial of the Unborn and the New Born.
