Florida Retreat

The Jacksonville Region hosted the 2021 Regional Retreat in December at lovely Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Our retreat master, the Rev. Eric Hollas, OSB, from St. John's Abbey in Collegeville, Minnesota, was inspirational. His stories and real-life experiences within Malta were engaging for all who attended.

The focus on spirituality of the Order has continued with 43 attendees enjoying the day-long retreat. The knights and dames took this opportunity to renew their commitment to the Order. Mass was concelebrated by the Rev. Matt King from Our Lady Star of the Sea, Father Hollas, and our chaplain, the Rev. John Tetlow. We are grateful for the planning of this day-long retreat by our co-chairs, Dr. John McKenzie, KM, our new hospitaller, and his wife, Anne McKenzie, DM.
