During this year’s annual pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help, President Margaret Melady, DM presented the pilgrimage organizers Robert and Kathryn Signorelli with the Commander pro Merito Melitensi and Cross pro Merito Melitensi with Crown, respectively.

A few years ago Robert and Kathryn Signorelli sought to locate a special site in the United States that might address those limitations, and they discovered that the shrine of Our Lady of Good Help in the Diocese of Green Bay in northern Wisconsin was a place where Mary had appeared just a year after her apparition at Lourdes.

For the past three years, Kate and Bob have co-Chaired the Pilgrimage Committee for Our Lady of Good Help, which is now recognized by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) as worthy of belief. Through the tireless efforts of Kate and Bob, the pilgrimage has become an annual event, and now includes all three U.S. Associations. This year nearly 200 people attended. There are many details to making a pilgrimage successful, from ensuring adequate lodging and transportation to liturgies and spiritual opportunities. Through Kate and Bob’s efforts, they have assembled a wonderful working relationship with the local Ordinary, Bishop David L. Ricken, Conventual Chaplain ad honorem.
