Philadelphia Members Participate in Archbishop’s Installation

Members of the Philadelphia Region joined with members of the American Association to witness the installation of Archbishop Nelson J. Perez, as the fourteenth bishop and tenth archbishop of Philadelphia, last month at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.
The archbishop declared “Jesus, Hope of the World” as the theme for his Installation. In his homily he recalled when someone at the Cleveland Clinic asked him if he was hopeful despite all that was occurring in the world today. He answered, “I gave my life to a faith that believes that a dead man came back to life ... yes I have hope.”
